Team cone relays: (15 min)
- The first player in each line dribbles through the first set of cones, then runs around the far cone and all the way back to the starting point. From there the next player in line goes though the drill. After going through the drill the 3rd time the player should sit down and wait until their entire team has finished so we can see which team wins the relay.
- Play a few rounds with some variation in the dribbling, whether it be walking backwards or adding in a skill move
- you can even add a punishment for the losing team(running, plank, sit-ups)

Partner Passing:(5 min)
- Standard passing warm up. Start player about 8 yards apart and start with some push passing. After a couple minutes move on to sweep passing.
- Make it very clear to players that the goal is to make our passes accurate. Encourage players to not lose their ball even one time. It's likely that they will lose the ball a lot but give them a standard they can aspire to.

Pair up players and make enough gates for everyone. If there is an odd number, pair a coach with one player or make a triangle for a group of three. Have them change partners at least once.
Players pass through the gate to their partner. Emphasize to the passers that they should push DOWN and THROUGH on the ball. This will help with accuracy and power. Emphasize to the receivers to trap the ball with their stick in front of them, left hand pushed out (see figure).
Challenge:
- most # of passes in 1 minute
- first team to 10 consecutive passes without the ball hitting a cone, foot, backstick
For U10s:
- after a couple rounds of push passes, we can also do a quick refresher on sweep hits and move into those

For the groups & any group that gets push passing down quickly
Explain that you can push pass towards goal too. More advanced groups can flick the ball off the ground towards the goal too.
- Pass and follow your pass
- Receive across your body, move your feet, and try to receive & pass in 2-3 touches
- After you shoot, go to the other side
