Playing The Ball Out Wide
This is a small-sided game but to shoot in the box the ball has to get passed in there from the 2 wide areas. If the ball doesn't come from one of the wide areas they are only allowed to shoot from outside the box. The aim of this is two work on crossing the ball into the box and scoring from the crosses. For defenders, the aim is to comfortably deal with the cross and work the ball up the field.
If a team scores from a cross into the box they get 2 points and if they score normally (outside the box) they get 1 point.
