Box 2 Box Stride Outs (10 mins)

Split the squad in to 3 even groups.

Start with 2 teams on one 18 yard line, the 3rd team on the opposite side.

Start with the Red Team striding across at approx 75-80% effort

Then the Black & Blue Teams follow the same instructions.

Teams to do between 8-10 runs before moving to next variation.

Box 2 Half Blasts (10 mins)

Same Set-up as the Box 2 Box Strides

3 even groups, staring with the sid with 2 team again.

These runs are done at a bit higher intensity 85-90%

Again, the teams will do 8-10 runs at 1:2 work/rest ratio.

Out & Back Box Sprints (10 mins)

Split the 3 groups from the previus 2 runs in to 2 even amounts.

This time at opposite ends of the field on the end line.

On the whistle, both groups will go.

Out to the 6 yard box, backwards back to the line then out to the edge of the 18 yard box

This is a maximum effort run, so ample rest in between runs.

Run should take 6-8 secs, so a rest of 20-25 secs on the jog/walk back to the end line.

10-12 reps for these sprints.
