Ball mastery and passing and receiving (10 Mins)
- Players on the outside play as a pair and pass the ball between each other.
- The central player works for 1 min and dribbles their ball and aims to avoid the balls going through the middle.
- Those passing try to complete as many passes as possible, which must be on the floor.
- The aim for the central player is to provide something to dodge and avoid to bring some random decision making.
Timings:
- 1 min in middle, 2 sets
(Set this up on the side)
Competition:
- Team with the most completed passes wins.
- Lad with least balls hit wins

Playing Forwards Passing Drill (10 Mins)
- Basic Passing drill, move off cone, turn out and play forwards.
- Competition against other group to finish first.
- Ball starts off on single blue cone and end man has to dribble around one of end 2 cones before coming back to the line.
Timings:
3 mins practicing, 2/3 races depending on the score.
Coaching Points:
- Move off cone and drop into box to recieve - (Don't move off cone too early)
- Check shoulders before moving off
- Recieve back foot, open up and play forwards
- Encourage 2 touch play

Playing Forwards / Line Breaking Passing Drill (10 Mins)
- Red keep possession in the red zones
- Blue have to try to intercept the ball, if they intercept the ball, 1 point, if they score 3 points!
- Red team get 1 point every time they switch the ball from one end zone to the next.
- Red team can play a direct ball from end zone to end zone (not in the air though).
Timings:
Rotate blue team every 2 mins, 5 sets.
Coaching Points:
- Move off cone and drop into box to recieve - (Don't move off cone too early)
- Check shoulders before moving off
- Recieve back foot, open up and play forwards
- Encourage 2 touch play

Playing Forwards / Line Breaking Passing SSG (10 Mins)
- Coach will need to join in to make a 6
- Red end zone player manipulates ball until line breaking pass can be made into one of 2 in attacking red zone.
- The two red work the ball to get a shot away
- Blues then play in the other direction. fast paced game. rotate reds and blues.
Must only have one play in one box for social distancing!!
Progression:
- Number 2 above, player can drop into spare blue box, turn out and play forwards to forward player!
Coaching Points:

- Recieve back foot, open up and play forwards
- Encourage 2 touch play

Warm Up / Ball Skills (10 mins)
Warm Up (5 Mins)
- Line of cones each, set up this twice on with another box.
- Dynamic warm up off the cones.
Ball Skills Races (5 Mins)
- Skills races off the cones, 3 points for first back, 2 points for second, 1 for first.
- Use Airbus Turns / Welsh Way moves as the race types. Lads choose the turns to perform in the rest period.
- Disguised running / sprints with the ball.
