Fun Competition - In Possession Players play keep ball against progressively increasing defender numbers.
Every 3 passes OUT OF POSSESSION team can add in another DEF player
ATT Team scores Points for each defender they draw in
Swap once BLUES win ball - And change over
3 rounds - accumulative score wins

GAME BASED - DRAW IN DEFENDERS
Pitch area smaller than 11v11 / scale up-down appropriately dependent on light / space available
(try to use smaller area than game day to make transfer easier)
4v2 in DEF Area
Try to draw in more players to create space / more balanced attack higher up Field.
Patient possession to draw players in
Qual of MMT/SUPPORT by DEF 4 REDS
On set Number of passes - 1 more BLUE DEF can join in from MID section then second to make 4v4
(middle reds can be a bounce pass option to keep ball)
- CAN KEEP 3v3 in middle and only 2 go in (realism)
When OPPORTUNITY sets itself (Triggers - slack press / opportunity to Penetrate etc) quickly move ball fwd (through MIDDLE SECTION)
Focus on Middle section REDS - Qual of Rec (Rec to play fwd from last week)
Middle reds can then join in attack to make 4v4 in ATT 1/3.
WHEN PLAY BREAKS DOWN - Blues can attack - but ball must be returned to GK to start there (PoftB) - Midfield 2 reds must retreat to middle section to cover fast counter - Repeat process
Lots of Opps to attack -> PATIENCE is key / TRUST each other / USE OF GK to keep 5v4 worst case.

REDS (coached) - Set up 3-4-1
BLUES (Oppo) - Set up 2-4-2
Reds - Try to play out from the back & Be patient cefore progressing higher up the pitch.
Blues - try to score in 5/6 contacts/passes (encourage change over in possessions)

Quality of MMT to disperse from safe GK retention
SUPPORT from players in back 3 +GK - angles & distance - Support higher up - keep away/unless need to support - keep blue midfield honest
PENETRATION - when and where and how to penetrate front line -> midfield line
Try to draw in MF players who will support the att players - recognise when they do this and and how to counter attack i) Combining with MF or ii) hitting front players
