Split into two groups as in this session reds and blues.
Layout cones as above in tow straight lines a square 5x5 or 10x10 depending on the age of your players. to the right and left place cones 5 or 10 yards apart again depending on the age of your players on the outside of your square place a line as previous 5 or 10 yards apart and have your players stand behine line A on either side.
On the coaches command he will shout either red or blue, depending on this colour the set of players will have command of the drill, the colour in charge will pass directly to the player in front of them with their right foot after 10 or 20 seconds of passing the nominated colour will then pass with the left foot and sprint to the first set of cones to the left or right. The player opposite must follow the runner and try and get to the cones first, they then join the back of the line.
Number 2 players from both side must react quickly and sprint to line B before the ball moves out of the box, so they need to be on their toe's and react when the players on line B move.
Progression
Once all of the players on either side have went make the players sprint to the outside cones and to mix it up if you have players that are quicker than others allow your players to change direction so from going to the right they can change halfway and then move to the left and the opposing players must react and get to the end first.
