5v5+1 or adjust for numbers
Set-up:
• Grid with 2 end-zones. 4v4+1 in the middle and a target player on the end zone.
Rules:
• The goal is to dribble the ball through the end line of the end zone after a wall pass from the
player positioned there – that resemble the action of entering the box after a wall pass with a
striker. The striker inside the end zone has to run away from his marker just before the pass.
• Between going from one zone to another all 3 three inside players have to touch the ball at least
once.
• The action starts with a pass from the blue player in one end zone, what directs the action
towards the further end zone.
Coaching Points:
• The movement of the striker and the ability to start a run for a wall pass

Three AMs are quite narrow to allow fullbacks to occupy wide channels. Also in this phase, this is the moment to check to see if opponent is leaving space in behind and if so we can test their back line with a long ball and a FW run from the #7,10,11 or 9.
