MDG (Breaking Lines/Staying Compact)

Disguise in body positioning/passes to help break lines.

Find different levels - be inventive wth your passing.

Try to use width of area in possession - can you cut pitch in half out of possession?

Animation of MF/DF4 unit. Closest player Pressures - dictate direction - show out to touchline (lock in) or towards teammates (into traffic). Second player(s) gives Covering angle to help slide in and win the ball if pressuring player is beaten, close enough to ball player's closest support option to affect if the ball is played. 3rd closest player looks to give Balance in a defensive animation, this maybe maintaing same height as covering player, but ensuring eyeline is focus on movement from the blindside (around + away from the ball). In a midfield animation in a central position, this could be dropping between lines, at an angle which can provide cover to the covering player, but whilst screening attacking players who cannot be picked up by our CBs. In a wider midfield animation, this may be narrowing off to around inside the centre circle - able to cut out the switch of play - but at a height that you cannot track runners into the channel behind - or to far away to apply pressure to FB or WM if the ball is switch in front.
