Goal Kicks- Playing out of the back.
Coaching Points:
- Player taking the goal kick chooses which way to pass out.
- Once the pass is made, focusing on providing an option for the player receiving the ball.
-**Multiple ways to approach playing out of the back, this is just a recommendation.**

Build Out Line (https://www.ussoccer.com/coaching-education/resources/us-soccer-player-development-initiatives)
• The build out line promotes playing the ball out of the back in a less pressured setting
• Once the opposing team is behind the build out line, the defender can pass the ball into play
• After the ball is put into play by the defender taking the goal kick, the opposing team can cross the build out line and play resumes as normal
• The opposing team must move behind the build out line prior to a goal kick and may only cross the build out line once the ball has left the penalty area.
Coaching Points:
1. How to pass and receive.
2. Decision making.
3. Understanding how to move together as a team (shape).
