Organization
- 25 x 25 area set up as shown
- Speed Poles, Agility Hurdles & Mannequins set up as shown
- 12 Players set up as shown (3 in each group/corner)
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity
- Group work together through movement & passing sequence of 1 to 4
- After each pass each player/corner makes a specific movement & joins new group
- After passes 1 & 2 players move quickly through Speed Poles, Agility Hurdles & through gate (blue) before joining up with next group
- After passes 3 & 4 players check away, spin off & accelerate around the Mannequin behind
- Players are encouraged to pass 1st time & move quickly!
Coaching Points
- Focus: Alert & Attentive to to ball. Be ready to receive, play & move quickly
- Touch: Prepare body/feet to receive & play pass with one touch
- Movement: Be dynamic when moving after pass. Agile-Balanced-Speed!
- Pass: Weight & direction of pass. Take take of the ball
Progression
P - Mid activity coach calls "change" signalling the pass sequence to reverse & move the opposite way
P - Introduce variation of movements through Poles & Hurdles
P - Introduce a second ball. Two balls playing a same time. 2nd ball sequence 4 to 1

Organization
- x2 15 x 15 areas set up as shown
- 5 yard gap between each area
- 10 Players set up as shown (4 Attackers vs 2 Defenders)
- Coach acts a server
- 1 Ball (additional with coach)
Actvity
- Players are split into two groups/areas (1&2) as shown
- In one area a 4v2 keep away game takes place, whilst the other area await transition
- Attackers must stay on outside of area & attempt to make 6 consecutive passes to score a point
- Attackers are restricted to the outside but can move across their line
- Defenders work together to win the ball or force a mistake
- The Attacker who gives the ball away becomes a Defender (along with team mate opposite)
- They must then transition into other area & become Defenders (see diagram)
- Each time play is broken down or ball is lost, coach serves ball into oppsite area to trigger the transition
Coaching Points
- Support: Anticipate the play, be alert & prepared to support your team mate
- Body Shape: Position of body & feet in order to receive & et up next action quickly
- Pass: Can you be creative & quick with your pass. Penertrate & play your way through Defenders
- Awareness: Scan your surroundings inorder totake snapshots of the situation
- Transition: Make sue you react quickly to Defend. Attitude to close down & win the ball back!
Progression
P - If Attackers split Defenders with a pass it counts as double
P - Attackers have 1 touch maximu

- 16 Players (7 Attackers, 7 Defenders & 2 Goalkeepers)
- 2 Full Size Goals set up as shown (back to back on halfway line)

Activity
- Teams are organized into a 4v4 mini game with each team having 3 target players around the outside
- Red team aim to score into goal on field A, while Yellow team aim to score into goal on field B
- Players in the 4v4 are free to move anywhere between both field
- Before scoring goal & on the change of possession the Attacking team must play through one of their target players on the outside (see diagram)
- Target Player only has 2 touches to pass to a team mate who can then score
- If goalkeeper makes a save they play to their team on the opposite field (e.g goalkeeper on field B plays for the Red team so would distribute accordingly)
- If team misplaces pass outside the area, possession begins from the oppositions goalkeeper
Coaching Points
- Possession: Circulation of the ball to seperate opposition team & exploit gaps that appear
- Transition: Be alert, ajust & have the correct attitude in transition. Whats the situation?
- Connection: Awareness of your space, surroundings & team mates. How can you connect quickly on transition of possession when attacking?
- Finishing: Be direct & dangerous with the ball. Go for goal!
Progression
P - Target Players 1 touch. They can now pass or dribble into the area on their touch. If they enter a team mate must take their place
P - Attacking team have a maximum pass limit before they must shoot (3/4?) this will create more transitions!

Part I: Warm Up - Condition/Technical (10 mins)
Organization
- Full pitch set up as shown (box to box)
- Speed Poles & Agility Hurdles set up as shown
- x4 15x15 areas setup as shown
- 12 Players (2 Groups)
Activity
- Players are organized into two groups and work their way around the field to each corner area (cones)
- Between the corners groups perform SAQ & Dynamic movements through poles & hurdles
- Half of the group move through Poles, while the other half work through. Rotate each lap round
- In each corner area group plays different activity. Each activity lasts for 90secs.
(1) Ball each. Dribbling, Manipulation until all players are in then knock out game!
(2) Rondo 4v2. Player who gives away possession goes in middle. 10 passes equals push ups!
(3) Pairs number juggling. Player must call number from 1-5 before transfering. Must complete that amount of juggles before calling number & transfering again. Mistake = 1pt to partner
(4) 3v3 possession game. 5 passess = 1pt
- After each activity is completed players move as a group around to next corner either through poles/hurdles (2 to 3) or dyanamic movements (3 to 4)

- Focus: Quality & execution of dynamic movements around the area. Activate your body & mind!
- Alert: Be ready to engage in activites. Get set up & playing quickly
- Communication: Connect with your group, partner & team mates during activites
