Short 2 v 1 option
Organization:
2 v 1 short corner option
-You can use this if the opposition only sends 1 defender to deal with short option
-You need 2 players that are intelligent and technically competent on the ball to execute this piece.
-Preferably a player who is left footed on corner so the ball is on dominate foot if he/she receives it back from striker. Left footed player would allow for good delivery or strike on net.
-STK(striker) is open body to see ball and defender and receives on back foot. Upon receiving he/she commits defender and makes a disguised pass with outside of foot to right mid who dribbles and has a shot on goal if possible.
NB: if the RED defender cheats towards the right mid as he overlaps the Striker dribbles along goal line and crosses/passes to cmid OR left mid who have made runs
-If you do not have a left footed player I would only run this option when it is a left sided corner.
-Left sided corner the same as above except preferably right footed player on corner...
-If the opposition sends 2 defenders which results in a 2 v 2 you can have the right back support for a 3 v 2 OR send the striker into the penalty area and run option 1.

-Very difficult for opponents to zonally defend as they can not SEE the attackers who are lined up on goal line..the defending players can not see the ball and player.
-If the opponents choose to man-mark they leave Prime target area in front of the goal exposed where our players can attack and finish.........

Player Movements
Left mid = Back post
Striker = Top of 6
Centre mid = penalty spot
Right back = Can hold central right.. can also provide a short option for 2 v 1 and/or receive and provide early cross into Prime target area (area width of posts and to penalty spot). Must ALSO be alert for any second balls or balls that are cleared centrally
Left back = Holds centrally
-Player Taking corner should have arm up and upon him dropping arm the players make their movements
