Description - target game play to target player to score a point. 8v8 game, stick to formation 3-3-1. add in grids half way through the game. can they now recieve the ball in a free grid, how can we do this>?, good frist touch, play forward and hit the target player.
Technical - lots of quick and short movement to lose player, good first touch if possible facing the way we are attacking, play forward (pass/dribble/shoot) with an end product.
Tactical - play forward when possible
Physical - good football workout
Psychological/Social - constant decisions to make, spatial awareness, communication required throughout.
Learning Objectives - recieve the ball in a space and use it to gain an advantage over the opposition.

5s possession (30 mins)
Description - warm up drill , 15 players in 3 teams x 5 players. Pass and move in the area each team with one ball. loud communication and good quality. move on to one team at a time each with a ball dribbling into areas of space and areas of congestion.
Technical - try to recieve the ball in space as far away from another colour as possible, good first touch/control play off to another team mate in space, do not hit team that are dribbling, good awareness.
Tactical - make the pitch as big as possible, be aware of areas that we can use and exploit.
Physical - good cardio vascular workout/agility.
Psychological/Social - good communication is neded, awareness of space around , decision making skills
Learning Objectives - identify space constantly, good first touch play forward.
