3 v 3 defending ( 20mins)
Equipment: 4 mini nets - 6 cones - 10 + / - balls - 9 bibs
Organization / Instructions : 2 grids @ 40y @ 30y - 3 v 3 - across 2 zones - cannot be more then 2 attackers or 2 defenders in each zone at any time - Coach plays ball to either attackers -Attackers / can they play out of back and score ( quick ball movement anf off ball movement - triangles and dia
Progression : Rotate players/opponents every 3-4 mins - remove zones to play unrestricted
CP: 1st Defender : close down quickly, pressure the ball , slow down/ delay the attacker
2nd defender : Provide cover to double up for dribble , positioning to intercept/block a pass/shot
3rd Defender: Provide balance & weak side support - communication - clear , commanding, detailed - transition Quickly
