Passing & Receiving Technical Warm-up.
Set-up:35x25 Yard Grid; 12 players, 6 balls
Progressions: Perform for 90 seconds and switch groups.
1) Black players receive pass from blue players and pass to another free blue player. Once complete the black player finds another blue player with a ball and repeats. Swap roles.
2) Same as 1 but can you play with two touches? But only if you can (this encourages player vision and 'peaking'.Swap roles
3) Players receive square on, then set back to server, then move to create an open body position to receive and find other server. Swap roles
4) Balls start in the middle and now players alternate between passers and receivers. When central players passes to outside player he will instruct for a wall-pass with her, or "take" (become central player). If outside player takes it, the passer looks for a free space anywhere around the grid.
Coaching points: Peak, receive at an angle with hips open and ball across body.
Communicate to person you're passing to with verbal and non-verbal cues (don't think that they can just call a name and expect them to be open if they haven't looked up; players who miss it pass or don't call name ) knees bent, arms out away from body,
Scoring: How many times can you receive the ball and pass correctly?
Challenges / Questions for Players:
When you receive a pass, can you position your body so you can see most of the field?
Can servers pass ball to receivers back foot (across the body)?

5v5 + 2 (GU11) & 4v4 +4 (GU10&U9): 35x25, 12 Players
Rules:
- 3 minute games, switch neutrals after game.
- Losing team has fitness
*GU11&GU10: 2 touch max inside progress to 1 touch outside players
*GU9: 3 touch progress to 2.
Progression:
1) Team scores everytime they pass into outside target. (GU9&U10)
2) Team scores everytime they pass transition from one end to other.
3) Player who passed ball to outside cannot receive it from them.
4) Limit touches (Olders 1 touch)
Coaching Points: There's always a player open, need to peak and know what you're going to do before you receive the ball. How are you receiving the ball? Are you creating enough space to receive with hips open?
Caution: Outside players may lose concentration but it's important they pay attention.

Organization: 4v4 (35x25 yd area) No goalkeepers. Play for 5 minutes then rotate teams.
Progressions
1) 2 touches (3 touches for U9's)
2) 1 touch finish
3) Free play
Instructions:
- Out of bounds: can pass or dribble in. Team who go and gets the ball first, starts with it.
Losing team has fitness.
Coaching Points: speed of play, peaking, receiving with hips open to field (across your body).

3v1 Warm-up: 30x20 Grid divided in 6 different parts.
Rules:
- First to 5 points.
- Defender gets 1 point if they win it or if ball goes out of play
- Offensive team wins it if they connect 5 passes
- Have to call name of person you're passing to.
Coaching Point: 3 step rule, always supporting your teammate.

Sole-V's, Sole-behind, sole-outside, pull push, inside-sole, sole across, inside out cut, dribble cut, dribble cut with sole.
