1) Full backs always flatten off
2) Our centre back has time to play forward
3) Ball side #6 stays narrow to provide passing channel into #9
4) Our #6s are tightly pressed - Can our #9 turn and look forward?
5) Opposite #9 and ball side winger to make forward runs
6) Play ball into space in behind and turn defence around - let our forwards run into space.
Note* We can be very direct in this formation as we are often 1 on 1 in final third positions.

1) Full backs flatten out and receive the ball from centre backs.
2) Both Wingers stay very wide stretching opponents.
3) Both #9s stay high and central occupying oppositions centre backs.
4) Ball side #6 supports underneath and opposite side #6 provides depth and support.
5) Once the winger has played the ball into #6 we look to switch point of attack and create 1 v 1 opportunities in final third.
Note* If we can find the forward pass beyond the opponents #6s, we can be very dangerous in creating 3v3 or 4v4 in the final third!
