Phase 2 Attacking Build Out Session (Whole Part Whole)

2v2+1 Build Up. Defensive team plays ball to Attacking team. Attacking team plays ball into Build-Up zone to teamate. After ball is played into Buildup zone they play out and play 2v2+1. Goals are scored into small goals, If defensive team wins possession they can score goal in counter goal.
Rotate players after 10/12 minutes
Coaching Points: Early movement to support to ball, open body when recieving, good communication, Good weighted passes, look to rotate passes, to create numbers up situation, and goal
scoring chances. Good movement through lines of defense, look for pockets behind and inbetween defensive lines to receive passes.
Secondary Focus: Phase 1 Ball Recovery (Midfield 1/3), although not the Primary focus, players need to understand what needs to happen to prevent goal scoring chances in our midfield 1/3 and regain possession.
Immediate pressure and chase on the ball.
Deny forward play and shooting or crossing opportunities.
Allow team to transition quickly into defensive shape and get numbers behind the ball and around the ball.
Get compact and stay compact.
Create numbers up situations to regain possession or force a turnover.
Deny all goal scoring chances.

Phase 2 Attacking Build- Up Midfield 1/3
Build Up lines; No Defending in shaded area.
6v6+ GK's - Defend 2 goals; Attack 2 goals
Goalkeepers Start Play. And they can receive back passes to help re-start play.
Progression: GK's can defend small goals.
Players are arranged in a 3 Defenders and 1 Midfield and 2 Forwards Attacking (Shape 3-1-2)
Coaching Points: Open up quickly; Good weighted passes, Good movement in front of the ball, to create passing options. Look to rotate the ball, to create numbers up situations, and goal scoring Opportunities. Good movement through lines of defense, look for pockets behind and inbetween defensive lines to receive passes.
