Organization:
Setup as shown.
Instructions:
- Players are divided into 2 or 3 groups at the start of the activity.
- Player A passes to player B, player B receives the ball on half turn and looks to dribble through either gates.
- Player C steps up to apply passive pressure against player B upon player B first touch.
- Rotation: A-B, B-C, C-D and D-A.
Coaching Points:
- Reecieve the ball with your back foot.
- Quick turning on the ball.
- Have a quick scan to see where the defender is upon receiving the ball.
- Be creative to get past the defender when the defender is rushing out to apply pressure.
- When changing direction, choose technique based upon level of pressure.
Progressions:
- Game progresses to 1v1 skill practice.

- Player A passes to player B, player B receives the ball on half turn and looks to dribble through either
gates.
- Player C steps up to defend against player B upon player B first touch.
- If player B manges to dribble through one of the gates, player B scores a point.
- If player C wins the ball off player B, player C passes to D to score a point or can also dribble over the end line to score a point.
- Rotation: A-B, B-C, C-D and D-A.
Coaching Points:

-40x40 yard.
-Cone goals.
Instructions:
Set up 2 teams as shown to play 6v6 inside the grid. To score a goal, players have to dribble through one of the seven cone goals. The players can dribble either way through the cone goals but they are not allowed to dribble through a cone goal back-to-back.
Coaching Points:
- Create space to receive the ball.
- Positive attitude.
- Correct use of techniques.
- Disguise intent.
- Awareness and decision making.
- Accelerate away.

Warm-up - Gates Turning
Organization:
- 30x20 yard area, all players with ball.
- Set up gates around the whole area, where players can dribble through.
Instructions:
- Players are dribbling inside of area. They are given specific moves to do with the ball.
- Moves include hip swivels and forward and backward rolls, Ronaldo chop, scissors, feint e.t.c.
- After performing these rolls we will start to work in specific turns
such as the Pull back, Cruyff turn, inside cut, outside cut and L-turn.
Coaching Points:
- Head up to see space and look over shoulder to see where others are turning.
- Technique of all turns.
- Look to turn into space.
Progressions:
- First to 10 or 15 turns through a get gets a point.
- Play for 45 seconds and see who gets the most turns through gates.
