GK - Communicate awareness to instruct defenders, be proactive inside the 6 yeard box, parry if needed. Brave starting position
Left back (3)- defend near post cross. Defend the goal from shots / headers. Press corner taker in second phase if opponent on the ball.
Right back (2) - defends far post, moves to protect back of 6 yard box.
CDM (8) protects second zone. Protect the middle of the goal Open body position to see all threats. Zone man "do not mark"
CM (7) protect first zone. Open body position al threats. Zone man "do not mark"
FL (11) protect the edge from knock downs and 2nd balls. Mark in the box if needed.
CB (4&5), FR (9), CM (6) - Man mark main attacking line. Open body position & slightly infront of attakers goal side. Contact defending. Compete for ball in your space.
Striker (10) out wide to receive emergency clearance. Defending players always check which side prior to corner.
Emergency defending, clear in direction of advanced player if necessary
Intercept 1st ball, react first to knock downs
When gain possesion quickly transistion to wide areas. CM(7) and FR (9) explode into wide areas.
