One on one ACL recovery sessions. Sessions are designed to be completed once the player is fully released. All sessions should be completed wearing knee brace on firm ground.
Drill Duration is based upon the needs/capacity of the player.
Sessions are designed to get the player used to repetitive movement and change of direction.

From 25+ yards out
2-3 touches at speed and finish with a solid strike
Work Right and Left Foot
Work shots on the ground and in the corners
B)
Work on bending balls in from the corners
Work right and left sides
C)
Red works through the ladder
Once through the ladder, Blue plays a firm pass for Red to Finish
Work both sides of the ladder to work mobility and R/L feet

-Tick tick roll

Work through the ladder cones with a ball

Work through zig zags
-Squash the bug at each cone
Once through zig zags, pick up a ball, take a touch, and shoot

Blue plays firm pass to Red
Red Receives while moving to the other side of the gate
Once to the other side (1-2 touches), Red plays to Blue who has moved to the other side to receive
Process Continues
B)
One Touch Get Around Cone
5-6 One-touch passes then Red gets to cone and back to middle
Process continues for another 5-6 touches then blue gets to cone and back to middle
C) One-Touch Boxes
-We did these for warm-ups some last year
Blue starts as target (they may have 1-2-3 touches
Red Starts as the worker
Start with a one-touch pass to the red
Then work to the yellow
Then work to the blue
Then Work forward to the green cone
Then work backwards towards the red cone
Switch targets

Simple 1v1 to goal
Red passes to blue, blue attacks goal
If red steals they attempt to dribble through gate
B)
1v1 Box
Blue plays pass to Red
Red attempts to keep control of ball and dribble to different sides of the grid
Each grid line touched in possession =1pt
If blue steals the ball, they attempt to attack the line where Red started
C)
1v1 with ladder work (if you do not have a ladder, you can set up 7-8 cones about 2 feet apart)
Red plays a ball to Blue
Red works their way through the ladder
When Red is almost done with the ladder, Blue will play a pass to red, then defend goal
