Warm-Up

DESCRIPTION:

  • Half pitch, divide into 4 equal areas.
  • Passing and receiving in the area
  • After passing, player must run around one of the cones and locate in different area

AIMS:

  • Warming up and involves the element of running, sprinting

BEHAVIOURS:

  • The gravity should be forward during passing
  • The gravity should stay low when receiving

CONDITIONS:

  • 2 touches max (Force them to run fast to support)
  • Only allow them to run around the cone which is in front of them

DISTRIBUTION:

  • If ball goes out, coach will send the ball to player

SYNCHRO WORDS:

  • Encourage them to run fast

Speed Training

DESCRIPTION:

  • Goal on each corner
  • Player starts from passing the ball to coach 
  • Simultaneously, Coach kicks the ball to one of the goals, player chases and stops the ball and avoid the ball goes beyond the goal. 

AIMS:

  • Improve the movement habit after passing
  • Improve the speed

BEHAVIOURS:

  • Aware of the gravity change during passing
  • Running posture

CONDITIONS:

  • Intensity : 100%
  • Rep : Around 6 to 10 according to the number of players
  • Rest : 1:10 or more

DISTRIBUTION:

  • Coach
RECOVERY ACTIVITY:
  • Walk to collect the ball back and queue

Speed Endurance (Maintenance) Training

DESCRIPTION:

  • 4 v 4 + 4 + 2GK / 5 v 5 + 4 + 2GK
  • Always start from the GK
  • Each team has 4 supporter (2 sideline players and 2 players on touch line)
  • 3 goals to score (Main goal by shooting, two side goals by dribbling)
  • If the attacking team scores, they continue the game by GK restarts the ball

AIMS:

  • Improve the ability to perform at a high intensity environment

BEHAVIOURS:

  • Perform 100% during the exercise
  • Look for score immediately

CONDITIONS:

  • Man to man marking
  • Supporter only 1 touch
  • Shoot to the goal gets 1 point, dribble over the side goal get 3 points
  • Progression : Player can score if they get into the finishing zone
  • 1 mins 30 seconds work and 1:1 work-rest balance
  • Rep : 5 times (According to the time, can be adjusted)

DISTRIBUTION:

  • By Goalkeeper

RECOVERY ACTIVITY:

  • Become a sideline player and support by one touch
AMENDMENT:

  • Use full pitch
  • 5 reps (1.5 mins per rep and 1:1 work rest balance)
  • Each rep has different conditions and the conditions are added)
  • Free play, 3 touches, 2 touches, man to man, all attackers over the half line.

Slalom without ball (Optional)

DESCRIPTION:

  • **If there are too many players in the training, insert this slalom training. (Divide into 2 groups, and one group play game, one group do slalom.
  • Set-up several sets of slalom and arrange 3 to 4 players in a group
  • Player starts from A to E, put some bibs in Point E
  • When player arrives to E, put a bib and dispatch it to A
  • See which team get the most bibs

AIMS:

  • Improve the ability to perform at a high intensity environment

BEHAVIOURS:

  • Perform 100% during the exercise

CONDITIONS:

  • 1 mins play, 1 mins rest (Can be adjusted)
  • Rep: 5 times
