Warm up
Hold the ball with both hands and it let drop to the ground. After one bounce, tap the ball back up and catch (bounce-foot-catch).
Next, rather than catch the ball, let it bounce, tap it again, then catch (bounce-foot-bounce-foot-catch).
Try increasing the number of bounces and taps before catching the ball to 3, then 4 etc.
Now try tapping the ball twice before it bounces (bounce-foot-foot-catch), then 3 times etc.

Players Line up in a single file line, all players with ball
Activity
The players line up in a single file line in front of the coach with a ball
The coach names the line either side as different football teams
On coach call, players will perform toe taps, inside bells
The coach will then run through some actions that the players have to perform on the shout
Down - Touch the floor with one hand
Right - Put your right hand up
Left - Put your left hand up
Spin - 180 turn
On the call of the teams the players will sprint to that line and back
Make it competitive by last person back is out
After 4 or 5 goes, All calls are opposite, so if Coach says Canada, plays must run to Toronto FC and vice versa

Warmup Activities:
4 groups x 3-4 players/group
Each group will rotate through each activity
1. Ladder work - quick step in each cone
2. Cones - Bunny hop over cones
3. Ladder work - 2 steps in each cone
4. Cones - side shuffles to cones
Then each line will do ball mastery to the end cone and back - inside/outside, bells, forward toe taps, sole roles

Warm Up Physical Literacy
Set up
2 groups
Each player of one group with a soccer ball
Grid 20m x 15m
Description:
The players without the perform various physical literacy exercises (jumping jacks, squat jumps etc)
The players with the soccer ball dribble around the grid and make self passes around the players without a ball
The players are awarded a point for each pass
Switch roles every 60 seconds
