Organization:
Set up 2 poles that a couple of yards apart with a cone on either side that is 3 yards away from the pole and 2 feet forwards so that the goalkeeper works on diving towards the ball and moving their feet quickly from one side of the goal to the other.
Instructions:
The goalkeeper starts on one of the poles and moves quickly across to the other side using small quick steps. They then make a diving save for shots served along the floor towards the red cone. They then get up and move quickly across to the other side of the goal and make another save and their opposite side.
You can either rotate after every 2 saves (1 to each side) or after a set of 2 or 3 to each side (6 saves in total)
Progressions:
1- Serve the ball at waist height.
2- Serve the ball at shoulder height.
Coaching Points:
Small quick steps between the cones, with a larger impulse step to start the dive.
Step out towards the ball.
Push off the leg closest to the ball.
Move both hands towards the ball at the same time.
Land on your shoulder.

Organization:
Using a goal that is suitable for the age of your players. Set up 3 mini goals around the full goal so that you have shots from different angles as well as teaching them how to make the goal smaller, so that their job becomes easier. Also put a cone in the centre of the full goal as a start point. You also need 3 servers and multiple balls per server.
Instructions:
The goalkeeper starts in the middle of the goal on the orange cone. When the coach calls a number they move into that respective cone goal, get into the set position and then save a shot along the floor to start with from that server. They then move back into the middle of the goal. Do small sets before rotating keepers.
The servers can serve to either side of their samll goal.
Progressions:
1- Serve the ball at waist height.
2- Serve the ball at shoulder height.
3- Serve the ball at any height.
Coaching Points:
Be in line with the ball and the middle of the goal.
Step out towards the ball when making the save.
Push off the leg closest to the ball.
Move both hands towards the ball when making the save.
Get into the set position when you get into the smaller goal.

Organization:
Within the area that you are going to use for your whole session you need 1 ball per goalkeeper.
Instructions:
Start with the ball on the floor with it slightly forward of you and a roughly 2 yards away. The keeper then works slowly through the stages of the dive. Step out to the ball, push off the leg closest to the ball, move both hands together to the ball, keep pushing hands away from the body through the dive. Speed up the stages to make the dive a fluent movement once they have the hang of it.
Progressions:
1- To make dives at waist height, hold the ball in 2 hands with the palms facing forward (away from the goal) and your arms extended away from the body. Go through the same movements. Step out to the ball, push off the leg closest to the ball, continue to push your arms away from the body.
2- To make higher dives hold the ball closer to shoulder height. Hold the ball in 2 hands with the palms facing forward (away from the goal) with your arms extended from the body. Step out towards the ball, push off the leg closest to the ball, push your arms away from the body.
Coaching Points:
Step out towards the ball.
Push off the leg closest to the ball.
Push both hands towards the ball at the same time.
Land on your shoulder.
