High Block:
We would use a high defensive block whe we want to pressure the opponent high up the pitch in order to regain possession of the ball closer to our goal. The line of confrontation is at the 18yd box in our attacking half and the line of restraint is at midfield. Within these lines we would apply a high pressure vigorously in order to regain possession.

Mid Block:
We would use a mid defensive block whe we want to pressure the opponent in middle of the pitch in order to regain possession of the ball. The line of confrontation is at the top of the center circle in our attacking half and the line of restraint is about 20 yds from our own 18yd box. Within these lines we would apply pressure vigorously in order to regain possession.

Low Block:
We would use a low defensive block whe we want to pressure the opponent deep in our half in order to regain possession of the ball. The line of confrontation is at the bottom of the center circle in our defensive half and the line of restraint is about at our own 18yd box. Within these lines we would apply pressure vigorously in order to regain possession.

This diagram shows how the team should move collectively when the ball is in the Half Space.
MF's: Note how the right sided central midfielder steps up into pressure the ball and force the player on the ball wide, the central defensive midfielder would cover diagonal back and the other midfielder would come across to balance the midfield and provide compactness.
DF's:The rest of the defenders shift over to become compact horizontally.
FW's: The 2 center forwards must work together and always protect the central column, force the play into wide areas. Its more about occupying spaces when pressuring the two central defenders from the oposition.

This diagram shows how the team should move collectively when the ball is in the Wide Channel. Note how the outside back steps up into pressure the ball and force the player on the ball wide. The midfielders also shift with the ball. The rest of the defenders shift over to become compact horizontally.
FW's: The 2 center forwards must work together and always protect the central column, and keep the play in wide areas.Deny any oportunity for them to penetrate through the middle when pressuring the two central defenders from the oposition.
