Sharks And Minnows (Dribbiling Under Pressure) 15
Description:
All but 2 players have a ball. The players with the ball are tasked with having to keep the ball inside the box and not get tagged by the players without the ball. The Aim for the players without the ball is to make as many tags as possible.
Progressions:
-Sharks now aim to win the ball from the players
-Players can only dribble around the box with one foot (weaker foot)
Rules:
-If a player is run out of the box is counts as a tackle.
-Sharks have to allow players who have run out to come back inside the space.
Coaching Points:
-Players aim to keep the ball under controll and not to panic under pressure.
-Players aiming to keep the ball close and under controll.

Organization:
- 20 by 15 grid
- 8 Cones
- 10-12 players
Instructions:
- Players will begin by dribbling the ball to cones and doing different dribbles
- Attacking players will need to avoid defending players that are trying to tag them
- Players are safe at cones
- Players must move from cones when another attacking player joins the cone you are in
- If attacking player is tagged, you change roles
Coaching Points
- Dribble the ball at speed
- Quick feet need to get ball in position to chop it with the heel of the foot
- Jump up moving the left foot over the ball and flick it with the heel of the right foot
- Accelerate forward with the space created

Race between 2 teams ( 4 - 6 player per team). They race to the cone and perform the different dribbles below:
-right foot race ( 2 times per player)
- left foot race (2 times per player)
- sole of the foot race ( 2 times per player)
- laces foot race ( 2 times per player)

SEVEN MINUTE DRILL
2 Rolls (4 each foot)
1) Inside Roll
2) Outside roll
3 Foundation (4 each foot, alternating feet 3 touches between moves)
1) Side to Side Push-Pull
2) Side to Side Step-On
3) Side to Side Front Roll
4 Pull back and go.
Do sequence with one foot then switch (4 times each foot )
1) Pull, Instep Push
2) Pull a Vee
3) Pull & Take with Outside of foot
4) Pull & Roll Behind
5 Turns: Travel 10 feet turn 180 degrees use 3 touches between turns (4 times each
foot)

Technical Dribbiling Warm Up
1. Players in the middle recieve the ball from a player on the outside turn and dribble the ball to another player.
Players will work for 45 seconds - 1 minute then switch with outside players.
Progressions
1. Players must perform a trick/skill in shaded square before finding a outside player.
2. When the ball is played to the outside, the players will switch positions.
3. Defender is added into middle square, inside players must attempt to beat the defender before switching with outside player.
4. More defenders are added in.
