Organization:
hurdles 2-3 yards apart. Server 6-8 yards away from center of hurdles. Service is volley to start and can vary according the GK ability.
Instructions:
Player starts in set position facing forward. When ready the player back behind the first hurdle to set for volley. Catch, throw back and moves forward and around the second hurdle to the outside. Repeat in a figure of 8.
Coaching Points:
Focus on being balanced around the hurdles.
Hips should be facing forward, body relaxed and arms.
Set position needs to have neutral arms, elbows infront of body slightly.
One foot should be in contact with ground at any one point in the movement. No jumping around hurdles.
Get inline with the ball early.

Penalty area set up as shown
1 goalkeeper works at a time, set up as shown
4 balls (more if possible to help create a flow)
3 - 4 reps per GK and then switvch to the opposite side.
Instructions:
Goalkeepers on outside take turns shooting on the goal
If the goalkeeper in the goal saves the ball or the ball goes wide then the goalkeeper in goal gets a point
If the goalkeeper concedes a goal, then the goalkeeper who shot the ball replaces them
Goalkeepers who are shooting can follow up any shots parried within the area
Coaching Points:
Move quickly in line with the ball
Move down the ball line to close the angle
Get ‘set’ just before the server strikes the ball
Correct diving/handling technique
Catch, parry or deflect
Recover quickly
