Aim- to introduce and develop the netball chest pass with the emphasis of 'W' hands.
Objective one- repitition of chest passing the ball allows the children to become familiar with the ball and the action of the pass.
Objective two- logical progressions allow the children to work the pass in different directions and in different scenarios making it more game like.
Objective three- competition causes pressure within the drill. This allows the children to feel how it would feel passing in a game.
Equipment- 14 netballs size 5, 42 cones of the same color, 18 bibs(3 sets of different colors), whistle, watch, stop watch and 4 hoops.
Venue- 120 Sandwood Road, Glasgow G52 2QY
Clients- 24 children, primary 6 at beginner level.

Organizational / Instructions
children in partners facing each other around 5yards apart.
Pass to partner back and forth.
count how many passes can be completed without dropping the ball.
Coaching Points
'W' hands.
flick wrists and push through fingertips.
step through into the pass.
Progressions / Adaptations
move further apart if distance is too easily completed. but ensure they do not move too far back to where it becomes a javlin pass distance.

6v6 game. one person in the hoop. team must complete three executive passes before passing to the person in the hoop. If the team complete three executive passes and pass to the person in the hoop sucessfully they win a point and the ball is handed to the other team to start.

this allows the heart rate to lower in a effiient way

Red stand and make an outside circle holding a ball each. Blue run in middle of circle and approach red for a pass. once recieved a pass, pass the ball back to red and go look for another pass.
Coaching Points
scan the area, look for space.

push from the fingertips and flick the wrists.
step through into the pass.

add in a pivot betwen recieving the ball and passing the ball back.
increase amount of passes.
