ORGANIZATION
1.10 x 20 yard area with 2 x 5 yard area either end, set up as
shown
2.Players work in teams
3.One ball per team
Instructions:
1.Players must look to drive the ball into their partner’s area
2.Their partner must attempt to control the ball without leaving their
area
3.If they are successful they score, if the ball leaves the area they
don’t score
4.Play for a set time limit then rotate the players
Coaching Points:
1.Getting in line with the ball to control
2. Driven pass technique - Ankle locked, toe down, contact off set,
cut across the ball
Progressions:
1.P – Increase service distance
2.P – Reduce controlling area
3.R – Reduce service distance
4.R - Increase controlling area

4. WALL - in middle of field (line of cones)
Instructions:
1. Game is played as a regular scrimmage
2. Players have a wall that they can go through but the ball can't
Coaching Points:
1. Width on field
2. Decison when to go around wall
3. Decision when to switch play
4. Moving defense to create space where you want it
Progressions:
1. 10 passes means you can go through the wall
