Activity 1
Organization: 2 v 1 v 1 to goal
Instructions: Attacking players go against first defender and then continue to second defender to try and beat them and get a shot off; defenders must stay in zone
Coaching Points/Questions: Focusing on combining to get past defenders; emphasize the use of give and gos, double pass, takeover, overlap, etc.

Activity 2
Organization: One player as a target near the top of the 18 yd box, lines near the 50 and out wide near the touch line
Instructions: Players start with ball near 50 yd line; pass into target, receive the ball back and pass it out wide to player running onto the ball, both players run into box as wide player serves a cross in to finish
Coaching Points/Questions: Weight of pass

-timing of runs so not offsides
-proper crossing technique
-runs into box (far and near post)

Conditioned Game
Organization: 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 with one player from each team in the wide channels; playing to the 50 yd line
Instructions: Must play to outside player before can score a goal; switch outside players after 3 minutes
Coaching Points/Questions: Trying to find the wide areas when things are jammed up the middle
