Organization

Set up as shown

Player A plays the ball to player B, who sets the ball for player A to shoot. Player B then joins player C in a 2 v 1 to a mini goal. Players rotate A >> B >> C

Coaching Points

Exploit space, get 1st touch out of the body, into space to make up ground

Assess the defender's position, angle, and distance of approach

Keep the ball close to your body as you approach the defender

Use maneuver to beat the defender – use your body or the ball

Accelerate past the defender and exploit the space created

Give an end product

Player A (defender) Passes to player B (attacker) and Player C joins the attack

Player B trys to unbalance the defender or combine with player C in order to score.
