Overview
20x20yd & a 5x5yd in the middle
4 players on the outside 6 inside the box
Players look to dribble out of the middle box and play a pass to one of the players on the outside once they pass the ball they follow their pass and take the other players spot on.
The receiver then goes in to box and dribbles out a different side to pass the ball to another player.
Coaching Points
Head up scanning to see where the open player is to pass the ball too and not to crash when dribbling.
Take smaller touches when inside the box as there will be less space once outside the box take bigger touch to set up pass to outside players.
when receiving the ball push out in front to allow acceleration into the box.
Communication - call for the ball on the outside so players dribbling know that your free and visa versa dribblers let the receivers know that your gonna play towards them.
Progressions
Add a defender into the box to make it harder if they win ball then you swap roles.
Have a timer to get the ball to a new receiver.
Get the players to use to using their weaker foot.

Overview
Passers look ball around box keeping ball from defenders
One of the attackers looks to make a run into the middle box
If they can receive and trap the ball inside the box they score a point for their team
Defenders are not allow outside to tackle or into the middle box
Key Points
Quick passing to move the defenders around to open space for pass into centre
Head up when passing to scan the field to see where your next pass needs to go and away from the defenders
Weight of ball - how hard do we want the ball hit? too hard it can't be controlled not hard enough won't make it through gaps to team mates
Pressing/pressure on passer - lots of pressure win ball quicker earlier/ less pressure win ball back closer to the box possibly waiting longer for ball
Defensive shape
Progressions
Have a static attacker in box if defenders win ball it turns into 3v1 passing round the middle box
2 minutes per round if attackers can’t score switch defenders
Add extra defenders less space to squeeze ball through

Overview
Area 20x20yd
10 players, 2 balls.
Practice starts with: 4 Target players on perimeter, paired-up on opposite sides of area.
In the middle are 3 Attackers (Reds) who are each looking to receive a pass from their T support players. • Players in middle try to get away from Defenders (Blues), who must mark man-for-man & receive a pass in an empty square to score one point.
If D (Blues) is in same square at the time of reception: point does not count.
After receiving a pass, the player in possession can pass the ball to any ‘spare’ target player on the outside of the square before looking for another pass.
Target to reach 5 points & then change players from outside to in & vice versa.
Coaching PointsA’s (Reds) inside square attempt to deceive D’s (Blues) to get free & receive a pass in an empty square.
Awareness of position of D inside square is important.
Communication & signalling to receive passes from perimeter necessary.
Timing, weight & release of pass vital to keep practice flowing.
ProgressionsDouble number of players in middle (create more traffic).
Player must mark man for man.

Overview
Ball starts with the red team on a goal kick they are looking to play the ball from the back through the team into the mini goals acting as the centre forwards of the team,
The blues are looking to win the ball back and attack the big goal.
Coaching Points
When playing out try to always see 3 corners of the field.
If the middle is to packed to play through use width to get ball up the field.
Once pass the ball into midfield don't stand still be creating a new angle to support the player if the ball needs to come backwards.
Communicate with each other let them know where pressure is coming from.
Open up your body when pass is played to you so can avoid running into trouble.
Progressions
Have the defence play a high press can we play over them if around and through are no longer an option.
Have an extra defender so the numbers are balance or even out numbered trying to play out.
Have a time limit to get the ball from one end to the other.
