Our main focus for this practice will be aerial balls. We will be focusing on the keepers ability to track the ball in the air, secure the ball, and quickly distribute afterwards. When keepers are unopposed they are expected to catch, when they are opposed they will have to make the choice of punching or catching the ball. Often in games keepers will make contact with players, sometimes multiple players. Keepers will have to be brave and not shy away from the contact.
