Catch & Move
Aim
To have the GK move quickly into position for a stolen ball with a quick shot
Instructions
The GK starts in the centre of his goal in line with c1.
c1 clips the ball to the gk who will gather the ball and feed it out to his 'defender' (c2)
c2 will control the ball and move it off to either side and immediately take shot on goal
Progression
Once the GK has made the 'pass' he has to move to the post and touch the marker before moving into position - we are looking for the GK to move out to the ball rather than back across his goal
Forward diving is a must

GK will then move around a marker on the opposite side of the goal to the ball and then move into position for the shot. The coach has to let the GK stop and set prior to taking the shot
both sides to be worked
Progression
1. The GK will move backwards and only turn to face the ball once around the last marker and then a sprint into position
2. The shot will be taken as the GK is moving over the goal
3. There will be a 2nd shot taken as soon as the GK is fully to his feet.

Speed and save
Aim
To have the GK's move at speed to get close to a ball for the shot on goal from close range
Instructions
The GK's start at the marker
On command, they move at speed and HAVE TO stop on their line and SET
As soon as the coach moves or takes a touch the GK can then move into his preferred position for the shot
(The coach can be as slow or as fast as he wants, - the GK has to watch for the trigger point)
Progression
As soon as the GK is on 1 foot the 2nd coach can move to his ball for the shot - we have to make the GK's move faster to get to the ball
