Objective: Introduce proper technique of dummy step & Platini.
Area: Quarter of indoor field at Campton arena split into 3 grids (15x10)
Activity: Exercise starts with player A. Player A passes the ball to player B who receives. Player A comes to defend passively while player B does dummy step or Platini. After finishing move, gets head up and plays to player C who repeats the same sequence against player B who is now defending.
Moves of the Day: Dummy Step, Platini Break down technique here. Be detailed oriented.
Coaching Points: Proper technique, run at defenders with speed, low center of gravity, good touch to escape with the outside of the foot, change direction-change of pace.
Progression: See fig. 2 for example. A starts with ball at feet and runs at player C who must stay on cone line, but can move horizontally. A tries to beat C without C touching her ball to A's ball. C cannot throw ball only try to touch A's ball with hers. If successful A takes Cs place. Continue onto B and repeat exercise.
