Organisation

  • Server tosses ball over airbodies for GK to claim at the highest possible point. 
  • GK moves and claims to their right, returns ball to server, backpedals to flat marker, and repeats left. 
  • *Progression: Add volley at start and driven shot at end of sequence. GK should return first ball to hands and second ball to server's feet.
*Set up 2x stations, with assistants serving to a group of 3-4 GKs

Organisation
  • S1 will play a low pass into the GK, between the mannequins.
  • GK will then pass the ball to S2, before moving efficiently into a relative position for S3 (on S2's touch)
  • S3 will touch ball towards the endline, before driving a cross into the mannequin area for the GK to deal with.
  • S2 leaves ball and becomes forward after receiving from GK
  • 'Forward' (RED) may pressure GK after a loose touch. otherwise, looks to finish any cross beyond airbodies (along with S2)

*Assistants server as S1 and S3, while campers rotate evenly between GK and S2

Progression(s) 

1. S1 can varythe service- Difficult pass, volleyinto hands, shotinto hands 

2. Gk can dictate what service they get from S1 

3. S1 can playthe ball outside of the mannequins 

4. Place a touch restriction on the Gk, when acting on the servicefrom S1 

5. S1 can become active when S3 is cutting the ball back

Organisation  

  • S1 will throw the ball into the mannequin area for the Gk to comeand collect efficiently. 
  • The Gk will then distribute the ball to S2, before moving into a relative position to deal with a cross from S3 (on S2's cross field pass)
  • S3 will cross the ball into the mannequin area for the Gk to deal with.
  • If cross is poor, S1 has extra ball at feet to volley, replicating shooting chance from cross.

*Assistants act as S1 and S3, while campers rotate between GK, S2, and FWD (RED)
