Organization:
-create a grid 30x20 yards
-20 cones
-plenty of soccer balls (10-20)
-4 teams of 3 players or 2 teams of 4 players
Procedure:
A pile of soccer balls in the middle, race between teams to get the balls back one by one as fast as possible. (Running with the ball). May also add prescribed ball manipulations.
Once all the balls are back get them to tally it up and then let them rob each others nests.
Progression:
Can be changed to add passing (could add a pass from the box you got the ball from and your team-mate must controlthe ball in your box for you to keep it). Shown with Yellow Players.
May steal from other teams after middle is emptied.
Coaching Points:
-keep head up
-using laces to push the ball forward
-keep strides long

Organization:
-set up a 15x35 yard area and divide area into 3 (10x15 yard zones)
-players divided evenly into 3 groups and assigned a zone
-each outer zone the players have 1 ball between the group
Procedure:
Middle players dribble the ball inside the central zone moving at all times.
Players in the outside zones pass the ball among the group while looking for a gap to appear in the middle zone where they can drive through (Run with the Ball) to the opposite zone.
Central players do not defend.
Players in central zone have 1 ball each.
Rotate middle players every 2-3 minutes.
Progression:
Players in middle can now look to block players from penetrating. (no slide tackles, defend by preventing space)
Scoring: outside players score an individual point by breaking through (running with the ball), middle players score a team point by denying a player space to penetrate.

Organization:
-create a grid 35x20 yards with a 5 yard endzone at each end
-halfway line is marked and used as retreat line
Procedure:
Players play 6v6 and attempt to score a point by runnning with the ball into the oppositions endzone.
Defenders cannot defend inside the endzone.
Progression:
Players play 5v5 + GK's
1 point is scored by running with the ball into the endzone.
3 points are scored if the player can enter the endzone and then finish on goal.

Organization:
-40x25 yard are for 5v5; if 6v6 increase area accordingly
-balls stationed along the outside of the field
-Retreat Line mared at half way line for 5v5
Procedure:
Encourage players to penetrate (running with the ball) as well as passing, however passes should not be forced.
Look for efficient movment to support player in possession and find space

Organization:
Team split up into two teams. Two cones 10 yards out from the goal line. One server from each team behind the net.
Procedure:
A pile of soccer balls behind the net. Each player throws a ball over the goal to the first person in line. The first person in line attempts to shoot the ball into the goal. Shooter goes to server with a ball and server gets back in line. First team to 10 wins. Switch sides.
Progression:
First time, out of air, has to hit the back of net first.
Coaching Points:
Eye on ball, finesse over power, placements, surface of foot, in line with the ball.

Organization:
2 cones 15 yards apart for each player. One ball for each player.
Procedure:
Each player starts with a ball at the first cone. On the coaches command each player dribbles/runs with the ball around the second cone creating a figure 8. Can be timed or for number of reps.
Progression:
Dominant vs non-dominant foot, inside vs outside of foot turns.
Individual or team relays.
Coaching Points:
running with the ball vs dribbling in traffic/turning, vision, parts of foot, changes in speed and direction.
