Instructions
Use of cover to win the ball in your attacking half and score or win the ball in your defensive half and score.
Coaching Points:
Covering player needs to be close enough to 1st defender to apply pressure
Pressure quickly.
Block the lane between the goal and the ball.
Force the attacker in the direction you want them to dribble
Body shape/ angle of pressure
Progressions/Regressions:
Progressions-Increase the space/numbers.
