Shooting Final Game - zone (30 mins)
Setup:
- 5v5 game
- 2 goals/nets
- Regular soccer rules
- Field size appropriate for age and skills

Pre-Academy Shooting (10 mins)
THE SESSION:
- 1s go first dribbling towards mannequin and perform skill to go 'inside' of the 'defender' and shoot at the goal
- When clear and safe number 2s do the same
- Change sides
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:
- Close control, small touches and head up when dribbling
- Different skills to beat defender
- Shooting technique
- Use LFC role models
- Use LFC values

Players 1 and 2 run around cones. once the get back to starting gate, coach passes a ball ahead. Player 1 and 2 play 1v1 to goal. Whoever wins it attacks goal. If 2nd to ball wins it they go to goal as well. Player that scores gets a point.

15-20 min games. Each coach takes their favorite shooting game. Each group goes to each coach
Examples:
World cup, shoot and defend, Pepper
Power and Finess and Volley
A. Super Shootout.
Teams divided into 2 teams. One team defend other team on offense. Team 1 sprints around cone and shoots. Team 2 sprints around cone and becomes goalkeeper and tries to make safe, Offense tries to score as many goals as possible in two minutes. After two minutes switch roles. Most goals win. Coach says go and plays ball.
B. World Cup
Players are divided into teams of 2 or three. All teams are in the 18. Coach has all the balls. 1 goalie.
Goal is to score a goal and get out. If you score your out and into the next round. Last team remaining is out for rest of game.
When one team is left they are out and shag ballsteh rest of game and all teams who scored are back in for second round. Each round last team remaining is out. When last two teams are left play to two goals for winner.
