Key Factors
- Find the right angle to ensure the gap between defenders is big enough for the pass to go through
- Punch the pass through the gap with speed, power and accuracy
- Movement to receive between players, making the angle as large as possible
Organisation
- Split the pitch into four lateral channels
- The players are in two teams of 6
- One team in channels 1 and 3. The other team in channels 2 and 4.
- Each team has a ball that they play through the gaps or around the side of the other team with, unopposed
- When receiving a pass, at least one pass must be made in the channel before playing through to the other half of the team
Progression:
- Each team can intercept the oppositions ball and play with two balls. First team to keep two balls for 20 seconds.
