Utilizing wide areas of the pitch
WFWD's will focus on their ability to incorporate turns whilst on the move, subsequently WFWD's will utilise certain cues given to them in their surrounding environment in order to penetrate higher up the field. Players will alternate positions after 5 repetitions.

1) Once the ball is played into space the WFWD will disguise a pass down the line and subsequently execute a Cryuff turn back inside.
2) The WFWD will then perform an outside link up pass to the supporting MDFD.

1) The WFWD will then utilize the momentum generated from the outside link up pass to peel around the mannequin and progress into more a penetrative area.
2) As the run of the WFWD is detected the MDFD will then release the ball into the path of the WFWD.
3) The acting centre forward will then drop into the channel and act as a supportive outlet for the WFWD.

1) The WFWD will then incorporate the supporting centre forward by playing a first time direct ball into feet.
2) As soon as the WFWD releases the ball they will make an angled movement in behind the mannequin to ascertain a crossing position
3) Once the WFWD’s movement is detected, the centre forward will play a first time round the corner/through pass in behind the mannequin and into the path of the WFWD.

Progression:
Depending on the location of the round the corner pass, the WFWD will now execute one of the following crosses:
1) Low angled drive into 6-yard box
2) Reverse set onto the 18-yard line for a first time strike

Stage 1 (10 mins)
1) Initially the WFWD peels off left of the mannequin in order to receive the ball in space out wide.
2) Once the acting MDFD detects this movement they will then release an angled pass into path of the moving WFWD.
