Station 1 (20 mins)

Organization

- Area is a 25 x 35

- 5v5 set up on the field

Activity

- 5v5 game

Station 2 (20 mins)

Organization

- Area will be 20 x 20

- 2 Teams of 4 players begin in the area

- 4 x 3 yard gates are placed on each of the outside lines

Activity

- One of the teams start off in possession

- The other team attempts to win the ball back

- The team in possession attempts to make 10 passes (Adjust to group) to make a point

- If the defending team wins the ball, to get a point they must dribble through one of the outside gates

- After 4 minutes the team with the most points wins

Play 4 rounds of 4 minutes (2 attempts in each role)

In game reference

Developing an understanding of receiving body shape, first touch and receiving angle in order to keep possession. In line with this we are looking for players to paint the big picture and have an understanding of what they will do before they receive the ball.

Station 3 (20 mins)

Organization

- Area will be 25 x 25

- Two teams

- 2 players from each team in the centre of the field

- The reaminder of the players spread around the outside of the area alternately

Activity

- The players in the central area are looking to get all of there players in to the central area to join them

- To get a player in to the central area they must pass the ball to them, once they have received the ball they are then able to step in and join in with the central players

- The first team to get all players in to teh central area and complete 5 passes wins the game

Progression

- To come in to the area there must be a combination of a 1-2 between the player playing the ball out and the player receiving the ball on the outside.
