Organization: Create a 20x20 yards playing area, mark out four 5 x 5 squares in each corner and one in the middle of the playing area.
Instruction: Divide players into four teams. Each team stands inside their base - one of the small squares at the corners of the playing area. Put twelve or more balls into the centre square.
On coaches command, the first player in each team runs to the middle of the grid, collects a ball and dribbles it back to his team. The ball must be stopped in the team's base box before the next player goes. Then the rest of the players take turns to collect a ball until all the balls have been 'captured'. The team with the most balls wins.
Progression:
- When all the balls have been collected, all the players have thirty seconds to steal balls from the other teams. Players are not allowed to protect their team's balls.
- Random amount of cones outside the middle square leading to the team bases that the players have to dribble around.
- Players have to use their weaker foot to dribble the ball with and/or specific parts of their foot, i.e. sole, instep etc.
- When the players get to the balls in the middle they have to do four or five toe taps on the ball before they dribble it back.
- Players have to pass the ball back to a team mate instead of dribbling it back. Their team-mates are not allowed to leave their base to collect a wayward pass.

Dribble w/ Ball (DWB)
Organization: Set up an area of 50 x 30 yards, with target goals in the corners and a three-yard centre gate between the goals at each end. 10 players in this session.
Instruction: Play a 5 v 5, 6 v 6 (w/ neutrals or bumpers if needed). Players can only go into the opposition half by dribbling over the halfway line. To score they can shoot into either of the target goals for one point but if they dribble between the posts they get three points. If they score they keep the ball and attack the opposite end. If they miss the ball is turned over to the opposition. Play starts each time from between the posts attacking the opposite end.
Coaching Points: Dribbling skills, practice keeping the ball under control. Key decisions are when to dribble to advance play and when to pass to a team-mate who is in space to dribble.

Warm-up: The Running Man
Warm-up: Line running w/ dynamic stretching, Figure 8 (5 minutes)
Technical Warm-up: Divide players up evenly, area of 8 x 10 yards and set up the cones as in the diagram, creating two zones. One zone is 6 x 5 yards the other is 8 x 5 yards including a two-yard zone at the end.
Instruction: Team 1 runs six yards, while the Team 2 has an extra two-yard zone where they cannot touch the ball. A player from Team 2 with the two-yard zone starts first by pushing the ball past the two-yard cone with one touch and then races with the ball to the other end and turns back. When player reaches the end, Team 1 player starts and races to the end of the six-yard zone dribbling the ball and doing a turn/cut move. At the end, Team 1 player must pass as close as possible to next teammate.
Both teams race. Team 2 with the two-yard "no touch" zone must pass to the next player from outside the zone. The first to finish after all players have gone home wins.
Coaching Points: Head up when dribbling, keep ball close, proper trapping and passing skills, good cutting and turning skills
