Players are organized into four groups. Each group rotates around the four stations for a set time period. The stations are setout as follows;
1) Dribble through the cones.
2) Dribble as quickly as possible from one side to the other.
3) Dribble to furthest gate and perform and inside cut to turn back. Perform an outside cut at the first gate and dribble to the other side.
4) Dribble towards the central area and perform a move at the manniquin.

Players are setup in zones with the aim of attacking the small goals. One player starts as a defender. The first player tries to beat the defender and shoot on goal. Once they have shot, the defender retrives the ball and the attacker becomes the defender for the next player in line. We want the players to be direct in the 1v1 situation and finish their chances with confidence.

Leave one player up and when you win ball get up to striker and support. All players must cross the halfway line and make three passes before thay are allowed to score. The opposite team leave one player up and the process repeats if they regain possession of the ball

Players start at the juggling box. They complete 10 juggles then move down to the sprints. Theses are 3, 20yard sprints. They pick up a ball and dribble through the cones in the middle. They play a one-two with the coach (around the manniquinn) and shoot on goal. After shooting they go over and go over the hurdles and then onto the slalom poles. After they come out the poles, they return to the juggling box and the process repeats itself. Players should perform 3x10min sets.

Players are split into groups of 3. In their 3’s, players are placed around the box. One player will feed whilst the other two work in the centre receiving passes and making one-twos with the players on the perimeter. Players should feed the ball in in various forms forcing the working players to control the ball differently. Are the players working together and moving across the field? Are there angles of support? Make sure the players are re-inforcing communication, cooperation, coordination.

Setout six mannequins/cones as shown. There should be a player on each of the mannequins and we start with two balls in play. Play commences with the ball at the feet of the two players at the top of the area. One layer (red) passes left and the other (white) plays to the right. The players receiving the ball make a small movement away from the mannequin (defender) to receive the ball. Using one or two touches they receive the ball and turn outside the mannequin to play it diagonally across the area to another player who takes a touch before playing back to the end mannequin. To progress, allow the players in the middle to turn inside as well as outside. Also, adapt the passing sequence to giving a give 'n' go around the mannequins. The key point in this exercise is the movement off the ‘Defender’ (mannequin) and to receive the ball well with the first touch taking the player beyond the defender. Are players varying their movement? Are they making a decision on where to receive the ball?

Pass & Move
Players start on the three red cones. First player picks up the ball and throws it to the player to their immediate left. They then run to the yellow cone opposite. The ball is passed around with players continually moving from cone to cone. Players must open their hips and backpedal before reachigng the cone to receive the ball. The ball is throwen in both left and right directions. After the ball is thrown, we pass and move the ball on the ground, receiving on the back foot and playing with the opposite. Again, the pattern goes left and right.
