The purpose of this session is to graphically illustrate different set pieces to do during goal kicks. Set pieces are different options a team should be doing during games. Set pieces are also known as set plays. You should be listening for the coaches direction on which goal kick option they want you to do.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.

Goal Kick Option 1
Goal Kick Option 1
- Goalie taps the ball to the center defender and the outside defender then passes the ball on the ground to either the left defender or the center midfielder or the left midfilder (Pass option should be to the player that is not marked up or has the most space around them).
- Left defender should be pushed out wide and showing for the player taking the goal kick. (Showing means positioning yourself so the outside defender can see you, you are not standing behind a player from the other team).
- Goal kicks should not go across the front of the goal.
