Football/Soccer Session (Beginner): Defending The 1v1

Description

-Players work in groups of four,with two players at either end, with one player at each end active, as adefender & attacker, the other two players ready to go next.

-The defender starts with the ball,and plays the pass to the attacker, who must try to beat the defender, anddribble with the ball across the defender's line.

-If the defender wins the ball, theytry to get the ball past the attacker's line.

Progression:

-Defender earns an extra point ifthey get the ball across the attackersline, no points for ball out of play.
