game related practice (10)
Organizational / Instructions
-directional 4v4 possession with 2 players in either corner for each team
-goal is to transfer the ball to one corner to the other while playing through the middle
-must play through the middle from corner , cannot go from corner to corner
-player who passes to corner player switches with them
- corner player has 2 touches , 1 to take positive first touch out of the box and 1 to find a pass
Coaching Points
-emphasis on players in the corners opening up the body and taking a positive first touch out the box and into space
- players in the middle make the box big and give the corner players space to take touch out [dont kill the space]
- middle players must then be available for a pass [ movement away from opponent to create angle for themselves
