Station #2 - Penalty Kicks - 12 yardsfor all players and we will use big goals
First Phase: 9-10 mins.
· GKs – Explain the “Stepping Secret” and can theGKs save it by doing only that cue
· Field Players – Step up and kick however youusually would take a PK
Coaching moment for the field players (5 min. into the phase) to watch the GK and not the ball, the entiretime. Can you kick it without having tolook down?)
Second Phase: 9 – 10 mins
· GKs – FPs will try to trick you with their stepsand movements. Can you see the 1stbig step and go that way, for the kick? If slow, can you see the hips?
· Field Players - Can you take little steps? Can you move left and right before you goforward to take away the “1st step clue”?

Station #3 – Crossing set plays All kicks from a wide position, towards thetop of the 18 (Need defenders and attacking players, as well as kick takers)
First Phase: (9 – 10mins)
· GKs - Explain Crossing angle set plays and their protocols. Use extra GKs as defenders or switch outsome of the field players to be offense and defense.
· Field Players - Playing balls into the near post. Low and high
Coaching moment: 2-3 minutes to go into Phase 2
Second Phase: (9 – 10mins)
· GKs – Make sure you have a 2-man wall set up so youcan step toward the middle
· Field Players - Play balls into the Far post and near post areas. Can you put backspin on the balls, to makethem hang in the air for your players to run onto? (Make sure to switch def./off/kick takers)

Station #4 – Corner Kicks – Kicks cancome from both sides if needed. (Need defenders and attacking players, as wellas kick takers)
First Phase: 9 – 10mins
· GKs - Explain the importance of the Near post areas players. Talk about zonal vs man-marking
· Field Players - Playing balls into the near post and slot areas. Low and high. In swingers
Coaching moment: 2-3 minutes to go into Phase 2
Second Phase: 9 – 10mins
· GKs – Positioning and front-loading the near post to be ready for far postballs.
· Field Players - Play balls into the Far post and near post areas. Can you put backspin on the balls, to makethem hang in the air for your players to run onto? Driven balls? Outswing and inswing (Make sure to switch def./off/kick takers

First Phase: 9 – 10mins
· GKs - Explain walls: How to set themup and how many should be used in the wall.
Whereshould you stand as a GK? Introducingthe crossover step to save.
· Field Players - Bending balls over and around the way on the right and left sides.(Dominate foot)
Dipping balls ontothe goal. Everything is near post.
Coaching moment: 2-3 minutes to go into Phase 2
Second Phase: 9 – 10mins
· GKs – 2 players on the ball, how does it changefor you? Near post or far post shots
· Field Players - 2 on the ball that can hit it far post and then work to hit either nearor far post
Todisrupt the GK and keep them guessing. (Look at where the gk is setting up)
