Halves
2 v 2/3 v 2 in each area, can play with or without a goalkeeper. Players are stuck in their areas unless they make a pass to a player in another area who SUCCESSFULLY controls the ball. Play a normal game so the object is to score more goals than the other team. Rotate positions around!
Thirds
Defenders can dribble into the midfield half with the ball but in order to get into the attacking half must pass to the attacker. Players are otherwise stuck in their areas.
Progressions
Change the numbers in each area to challenge the players

Passing SSG
2 pitches set up like above, if 1 team pass to a player who RUNS into the red corner they will get 2/3 goals compared to 1 goal if they score past a goalkeeper.
Rotate teams around so they play against different opposition. If numbers allow you could play the same on 1 pitch.
Adaptation
If a player receives the ball in the red square and their team score from the attack they get 2/3 goals.
