Type: Dribbling
Team Function: Dribbling and sprinting
Zones: all
Duration: 20 minutes
Objectives: Dribble through the cones
Emphasis: ball
Coaching Points: part of foot , Part of ball, pace,
Organization: set up rows of 5 to 6 cones in a line with two players in each line.
Equipment: cones and balls
Goals: dribble through the cones without touching them
Instructions: Players will dribble through the cones using the part of the foot/feet instructed by the coach. When the player reach the end of the cones, they must stop the ball and sprint around the flag or marker. The player must then repeat the exercise on the way back to the starting point. The next player then executes the drill.
Progression: make it a race to see how many times a team can complete the drill in 2 minutes

Type: Technical
Team Function: Dribbling with Finishing
Zones: 3rd and 4th Quarter
Duration:15-20 Minutes
Objectives: Attack and shoot
Emphasis: ball control, timing of feint, accuracy of shot, pace
Coaching Points: keep the ball close, touch the ball away from defender, part of ball, part of foot
Organization: The field is set up into 2 zones A and B. Players in spaces designated as A will dribble and shoot towards net A
Equipment: nets, balls and cones
Goals: beat defender (static and shoot)
Instructions: Players in A1 and A2 areas will attack towards Goal A. Players in B1 and B2 areas will attack towards Goal B
Players in attacking positions will dribble towards the defender (cone) perform a move and shoot without excess touches
The player will then retrieve their ball and move to the figure 8 zone on the opposite side of the field to where they started.
Players in the Figure 8 area will perform figure 2-3 8's keeping their head up, paying attention to the goal they will shoot on.
When the area is clear, players in the figure 8 zone can then attack the defender perform a move and shoot on goal without
excess touches

Team Function: Possession
Zones: all
Duration: 30 minutes
Objectives: Dribble when opportunity presents itself. Pass, Receive Support
Emphasis: Spatial awareness, attack with pace, support after the pass
Coaching Points: move the ball quickly, first touch, Angle of Body, weight of pass
Organization: set up a 30x30 playing area, have balls nearby to continue play
Equipment: nets, cones balls
Goals: Dribble, Pass, receive, support
Instructions: place players in the grid as per diagram with one player in the top grids. players in the final third of the field can move in side to side or forward direction. Players in the middle third of the field can only move side to side outside of their grid. There can only be two players in a grid an any given time. All players can move anywhere in the entirety of their grid. Points are scored if a team can get the ball to their strikers and then reverse the ball so the teammate can score in one of the goals. 1 point if the ball reaches the striker. 2 points if a team scores in a net.

Coaching Points: Body behind ball, control the ball, do not pass into pressure
Organization: 10 x 10 or 20 by 15 grid / 4x4x4 triangles
Equipment: cones and balls
Goals:
Instructions: Part A :players will dribble in a 20 x 15 Area, performing moves and changes of direction without the ball going out of bounds
Part B: red players try to tag blue players as many times as possible in 30 seconds. Change the tagger after 30 seconds
Progression: Part A: add stationary moves before player can dribble off
Part B: add a soccer ball for each player
