Organization:
Goalkeepers line up in pairs
Playing Area inside the 18 yard box
Goalkeepers practice techniques for:
- Under arm Toss
- Over arm Toss
- Punt
Instructions:
One Goalkeeper distributes the ball the other makes a save then re distribute
Coaching Points:
Bend the knees for the under arm toss
hit the ball with the laces for the punt kicks
ball service should alway go more to the sides (never down the middle of the field)
Progressions:
Extend the distance of the passes

Organization:
Cones are set up 2 yards apart as shown in diagram
tall cone is about 4-5yards off center of semi-circle (cones)
Goalkeepers work in pairs
Instructions:
Goalkeeper starts at tall cone and wait for color instructions. Whenever a color cone is called he/she quickly advances to to color then shuffles back to starting position.
goalkeepers work for a minute each then switch positions
Coaching Points:
Goalkeepers should stay on their toes at all times in ready position
quickly advance to cone then slow down into ready postion as they get closer to cone
jog backwards to starting position
Progressions:
1. two or three colors are called and goalkeeper goes to ever color then back to starting position
2. Partner serves a ball which goalkeeper has to catch then return

Organization:
Playing area 18yard Box
Playing Area is extended with increased number of goalkeepers
Each Goalkeeper has a soccer ball
Instructions:
Goalkeepers hop/skip/shuffle around playing area
Bounce the ball on the ground and catch ball using the 'W' hand shape
Toss the ball in the air and catch with Basket catch and 'W' hand shape
Coaching Points:
Bring the ball into chest after after making catch
always try to catch ball with thumbs/hands in a 'W' form
Progressions:
1 - goalkeepers put the ball on the ground and stretch making figure 8s through the legs
2 - goalkeepers practice reflex catches with ball between the legs

Instructions:
Goalkeepers have to pass the ball by hand to fellow goalkeeper
Goalkeepers score by rolling ball into field players' net
Goalkeepers are not allowed to move after catching the ball
Field players play with feet and score by shooting on Goalkeepers' net
Field Players are allowed to have one goalkeeper in their goal
Coaching Points:
Goalkeepers should using catching techniques to intercept feild players passing
distribution should be a leading pass to teammate

Instructions:
- Goalkeepers are to stand 3 yards away from cone
- passes are made with either left foot in left direction/right foot in right direction
- passes are made using two touches first to receive second to pass
Coaching Points:
-passes should be sharp out of the feet
- pass the ball to teammates/goalkeepers leading foot
- communication about where to pass or what foot to pass to
- open body motion/angle of approach before receiving pass
Progressions:
P1 - goalkeepers must receive with one foot and pass with the other
P2 - goalkeepers must receive and pass with the same foot
P3 - Goalkeepers are only allowed one touch
