Aim: To introduce and build an understanding of the cookie jar method when shooting in netball.
Objective 1: Repetition of the shooting movement. allows the technique to become more familiar and gradually easier.
Objective 2: Progressive drills allow the participant to go from shooting on the spot to performing shooting when moving.
Objective 3: Drip feeding coaching points helps the participant to remember their key movements in their shooting.
Equipment: 14 netballs size 5, 24 bibs of 4 different color (4 sets of 6), 4 nets (if no nets use hoops help up), whistle, watch and stop watch.
Venue: Glasgow clyde college Cardonald
Clients: 16 children, mixed level.

In groups shoot into hoop from side and remember to use cookie jar method when shooting.

this allows the heart rate to lower in a effiient way
bring into a circle for static stretches.
circle shoulders/arms, wrists, hips, ankles.
Stetch arms but dont push elbow joint.
Lunges to stretch gluets,hamstrings and quads.

Stretches:
Place arm above or below the elbow joint.

add in commands such as; left hand on floor, jump up etc.
